
Terms and Conditions
Before you book, make sure our sauna experience is right for you.
Saunas are a wonderful experience and are used by people of all health and fitness levels.
Please be aware of the following information and use your own judgement to decide whether it is suitable for you and to keep yourself from potential harm.​

Safety Notice​

The sauna has a hot stove which could cause a burn if touched. Do not touch the any part of the stove, flue, chimney or rocks. The staff will attend to the fire from outside of the sauna.

When pouring water on the rocks, start from the point furthest away from you to prevent scalding.

Access to the sauna is via a ramp that may be wet so please take care on the ramp and enter and leave in a safe manner. Exercise due caution at all times.

We will be positioned in the natural environment so surfaces outside of the sauna may have hazards.

If you choose to dip or swim off the coast, it is your responsibility to ensure that you can handle change of temperature and that you are a capable swimmer. There may be tides and currents without lifeguards present, so enter the water at your own risk. (If you choose to do this, a quick dip in shallow water is suggested). We have a sprinkler shower for cooling off if you wish.

To keep you safe, we reserve the right to cancel a session in the case of adverse weather such as strong gusts of storms. We cannot give refunds or credits for bad weather if we deem it not safe to be open.

Health Notice
Use of the sauna is done at your own risk. We ask that you contact your GP if at all in doubt about safely using the sauna.

If any of the below apply to you (please note, this is not a comprehensive list) we advise you to seek your GP’s advice: -

If you have cardiovascular conditions and/or problems

You have asthma or breathing conditions

High or low blood pressure

If you have arterial disease

If you have joint or muscle injury

Suffer from any condition whatsoever that makes you unsure as to the advisability of using sauna.

Sauna Etiquette
Sauna is a great fun activity, but please be respectful of other customers and staff. We reserve the right to request your removal if we feel it is necessary, for example if we suspect you are intoxicated or other reason that may cause a health and safety concern.

Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

Please bring towels, plenty of water to drink, and wear suitable bathing clothes and beach-type shoes.

Although Finns generally do not wear clothes in the sauna, this is not the case in England so please wear appropriate swimwear in either private or communal sessions. Nudity is not permitted.

To prevent burning, remove jewellery.

Remove footwear before entering the sauna and wear footwear outside of the sauna.

You must use a towel to sit on the sauna benches. 2 towels are best (one to sit and one to dry off if necessary)

No liquids or products are to be brought into the sauna.

No smoking or vaping will be permitted.

There will be an area to leave your property outside of the sauna but this is left at your own risk.

Stay in the sauna for no longer than 20 min at a time (we recommend 5-15 min sessions)

Children aged 6 – 16 years are welcome in a privately hired sauna only. We regret that they cannot join our communal sessions. They must be accompanied at all times. by an adult family member/guardian. The ratio of 1 adult to a maximum of 2 children.

A paper copy of a waiver must be signed on site by the adult stating the relationship between the parent/guardian and the minor.
If you are making a booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of the terms and conditions and sauna etiquette to practice safe sauna use, as well as making others aware of what to bring and other useful information.
