Our wood-fired mobile sauna brings you the healthy way to recharge and connect with the natural environment, without the distractions of modern life.
Löyly is the steam that sprinkling water on the sauna rocks creates.
But it is also the release of the sauna’s spirit to awaken both body and soul.
This is the essence of what is popularly termed ‘wellbeing’.

Sauna benefits are well-documented and scientifically proven, from improved mental wellbeing to actual physical health improvements such as better immune system, improved blood pressure and heart health. Additionally, the contrast with the cold temperatures from the air and water aid this rejuvenation. Your happy hormones will be released and your body will thank you too!
About us
Spending my own childhood holidays in Finland with Finnish family and friends, I know how sauna is revered in Finland as a huge benefit to their health and wellbeing and is considered by the population as an integral part of why Finland is often voted the Happiest Country.
There are currently around 1 sauna for every 2 people in Finland and are used frequently as a space to meet friends and family and enjoy the wonders of nature.
At last, in England, there is a growing awareness of the benefits of experiencing the sauna. Beyond the indoor gym environment, saunas are now popping up in-situ of beautiful nature, where they were originally intended for.
We have hand crafted a beautiful mobile sauna within a classic RICE horsebox. Using the best quality products was very important to us, to ensure it meets the most stringent Finnish safety standards. It also creates a truly authentic Finnish sauna experience.
Our sauna
We have installed a Finnish-made wood-burning stove, (HARVIA Brand) that is designed, made and particularly popular amongst Finns. Our firewood is locally and responsibly sourced from the West Dean Estate. We aim to have as little impact on the environment as possible. Please help us with this by leaving nothing except great memories.
Session slots are in 30 minute blocks, but feel free to book two slots next to each other if you'd prefer to stay for an hour. See Booking Page for more information and availability.
Children from 6 years can try our sauna. If your child is under 16, they must be accompanied with an adult in a private session only.
Feel free to use our small changing tent before and after your sauna session, however its recommended to arrive in swimwear ready to just remove outer clothing to avoid queuing. If you would like to make use of the changing tent, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your booking.
Please take advantage of our refreshing,cold water pump shower to cool down between sauna rounds.
Our sauna seats 5 people but can accommodate up to 6 when booking private hire.
